02/06/90. A quick drive was all that was needed to leap frog 1S07 so here it is again north of Dalwhinnie.

Already displaced from the Edinburgh - Glasgow route by Class 158's the 47/7's had to work as part of the normal Scottish 47 fleet. 47706 had been seen earlier in the day working an Aberdeen-Inverness diagram and Saint Andrew had been observed at Moy when the third sub class member 47708 appeared on this north bound service just about to enter the rock cutting at Schold summit with the same named viaduct in the background.
